Dr. Hamidi's work focuses on performance-based earthquake engineering from conventional earthquake engineering to modern seismic design of structures. Here is what he says about himself: "As an Associate Professor, I am teaching at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Babol Noshirvani University of Technology. I greatly enjoy the teaching opportunities and my main topics of research interest focus on Performance-Based Seismic Design, Structural Dynamics, and Earthquake Engineering. As a Civil Structural Engineer, I have been working in the engineering field for the past eighteen years, and during that time I have been a part of multiple projects, including ones that focused on structural design, seismic retrofitting of structures, and construction consulting." Dr. Hamidi joined NIT in 2014 from IUST.
